Description
Clearwire is an exciting, growing wireless broadband business. We are seeking a Technical Support Representative to provide outstanding technical support for Clearwire Customers.
We are looking for talented, driven individuals who are interested in:
- Advanced troubleshooting of wireless broadband, IP services, personal computers, wireless routers, wireless modems, email, voice services, multiple software applications, and other Clearwire hardware.
- Working effectively with team members to provide exceptional support for internal and external customers.
- Astonishing customers with friendly, fast, professional, and knowledgeable customers support.
- Accurately tracking customer issues and resolutions while proactively identifying trends.
- Exceeding key performance measurements defined by the leadership team.
Position Requirements

- Polite and professional demeanor
- Ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic environment and new technology of wireless broadband
- Excellent general customer service skills and a demonstrated technical aptitude
- Desire to exceed customer expectations and build a world class reputation for customer support
- General knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, Microsoft applications, PC and Macintosh systems
- Experience with wireless routers, VOIP services, PC security/firewall software is beneficial but not required
- Past customer service experience helpful, but not necessarily required
Successful candidates will possess the following:
Basic TCP/IP knowledge including:
- Ping | Tracert | DNS resolution | ipconfig | DHCP
Ability to troubleshoot inbound and outbound customer calls including:
- No radio signal | Customer setup | Identify and resolve Spyware and Virus infected computers
- Basic networking | VOIP services setup and troubleshooting
- Billing questions
- General Installation /Un-installation of programs.
Experience configuring /troubleshooting email clients including:
- Outlook Express | Windows Mail | Mac Mail
- Outlook 2000 | 2002| 2003 | 2007
- Netscape | Eudora | Thunderbird | IncrediMail | Windows Live Mail
Experience configuring /troubleshooting browsers including:
- Internet Explorer 6 | 7 | 8
- Mozilla Firefox 2 | 3
- Safari | Opera | Netscape | Chrome
