Carpathia Hosting’s Product Manager is responsible for the development and management of the services portfolio, including development, marketing and sales support initiatives associated with new and existing product lines.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in a product management function in the hosting/managed services industry.  This position reports to the CTO/VP Product Management to define the long-term strategic vision as well as the detailed day-to-day management and tactics.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Work with the CTO to identify new services and potential partners that provide the maximum ROI for portfolio of services.
• Develop competitive strategy and continuous understanding of hosting market and competitors to ensure that Carpathia Hosting wins in defined markets.
• Become content expert and work with marketing team to maintain all product related collateral, sales training and product roadmap communications
• Manage all elements of the product launch process including value proposition articulation, development and execution of go-to-market plans and internal launch readiness
• Manage product revenue growth, attachment and profitability through the development and implementation of marketing programs, positioning & messaging and product take rate activities
• Develop and review financial models with CFO

Key Skills

• Colocation, managed services and cloud services experience

• Experience with Internet-delivered software

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree (MBA) preferred.

Relevant Work Experience:

• 4-5 years experience in Hosting or Hosted Services, marketing, business development.
• 7 – 10 years related work experience.
• Product management experience with Shared or Dedicated Hosting.
