Director, Indirect Channel Sales Kansas City Job Summary: Hosting Business Development / Partner Management responsibilities, reporting to the Vice President of Sales and requiring some travel to meet with potential and existing partners, as well as to attend trade shows and other industry events. Interacts with Codero partners, employees and other departments to assist in identifying new opportunities that will expand and grow the business while delivering superior customer services and partner management. Qualifications/Experience:
- Exhibits qualities of cooperation, adaptability and flexibility as changes occur in the department and maintains a positive attitude.
- Requires deep domain expertise in the Internet Hosting and SaaS arena.
- Knowledge and commitment in using, Microsoft Dynamics CRM to map out daily schedule and report activities.
- Capable to develop and cultivate a partner network and successfully manage activities against objectives and goals.
- Ability to close partnership opportunities and generate revenue within first 90 days of employment
- Must understand technology to a level of being able to discuss intelligently and understand conceptually how Codero would integrate with a partner solution.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely implementation of assigned projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Solid decision-making and problem solving skills; ability to execute a number of parallel tasks.
- Exceptional project management, process management and organization skills; sales process and resource management
- MS Office Suite; Microsoft Dynamics CRM or related experience preferred; Knowledge of online marketing tools and technologies
- Sales/Marketing skills needed for this position include a highly creative, original thinker with at least 5 years sales leadership experience, must have excellent customer service & communication skills, exemplary organizational skills; must be able and willing to delve in "hands-on" approach for various projects when necessary.
- Must learn quickly the technical concepts behind web hosting including various hardware, operating systems, networking basics, and various software that powers hosting.
Essential Functions:
- Prioritize our existing partner associations and create a plan to maximize opportunities within our existing business relationships.
- Establish and execute a plan for an Indirect Channel Sales program leveraging our SMB solutions.
- Develop and grow the partner network and construct meaningful agreements and relationships with new partners.
- Must be a self starter, as position requires quick ramp with measurable revenue results within the first 90 days after joining the company
- Create and implement a regular partner communication strategy.
- Meet regularly with key, strategic partners to educate and update them on new Codero solutions and services, customer wins, integration opportunities, and company progress.
- Drive revenue within small and medium accounts by leveraging primarily SMB VARs & Hosting Resellers.
- Contact prospects and partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and webinars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company. Manage the ongoing needs of these partners to ensure success for joint customers, Codero and the partner.
- Collaborate with marketing, support, and sales management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
- Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional. Regularly interface and communicate with senior stakeholders and business leads of Codero as required.
