SingleHop.com requires on-site datacenter technicians! SingleHop is a managed dedicating hosting provider located in downtown Chicago, IL . SingleHop has been surprising the industry since launched in 2006 by providing cost effective and one of a kind managed services.  We are currently hiring for the following shifts: * Third shift, 1am - 9am (days undecided) Job duties include:  1. Racking servers in datacenter cabinets 2. Hardware troubleshooting 3. Replacing faulty/malfunctioning hardware in servers (RAM, RAID cards, Hard drives) 4. Reinstalling Operating Systems Required Skills: * Proficient knowedge of hardware and RAID systems * Understanding of PC hardware architecture * Experience in proper cabling and cable management * Excellent verbal and writing skills * Advanced understanding of computer networking * Advanced understanding of Linux and Windows 2003  * Able to deploy CentOS, Windows 2003/2008 Server, FreeBSD and Debian ***Webhosting experience in general, cPanel  and Datacenter experience is required*** This position is for Chicago applicants *ONLY*.
