Senior Account Executive Job Description Our sales department is currently seeking senior Account Executives in Los Angeles to sell hosting and related services. This role will be responsible for identifying, qualify and closing new opportunities. This position will acquire new customers by managing the entire sales process from prospecting and qualification, building executive relationships through deal crafting, and contract negotiation. This position will call on new accounts in the Small, Medium and Large business space and will achieve assigned sales quota by working the sales plan to gain new clients and properly maintain pipeline.
Skills Responsibilities:
Conduct regular calls and meetings with existing clients Develop understanding of customer’s short and long term business needs. Prepare sales quotes, negotiate offers, and process sales orders in a timely manner. After training, demonstrate a strong proficiency in our CRM and Sales Management software Participate in sales meetings and training sessions and help develop new sales strategies.
Required Skills:
A minimum of 5 years technology sales experience Strong “hunting” skills are a must – specifically, cold calling and prospecting to build and maintain a high quality and sustainable pipeline. Owning and nurturing the relationship after the sale is also key Strong presentation skills with demonstrated experience selling to executive management Experience working in complex sales environment, managing multiple decision makers and influencers Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability Excellent time management, decision making and organization skills Proven outbound sales methodology and track record Proficient and comfortable in high level contract negotiations Must be self motivated and disciplined Ability to travel as needed to prospect and/or client sites for sales presentations as well as seminars and trade shows
